Young, fun and incredibly talented, Andy Hopper (pictured with Kathy G) is our lead designer and the preeminent
floral/design artisan in the South.
A recent Allie Awards Nomination for Best Floral Design, he’s the designer that bridal magazines, newspapers and websites continually call on for input when determining wedding trends and the next “it” color palette.
Andy’s passion for decor, floral and design began very early in life; he was designing tablescapes at age four! All throughout his childhood, he worked alongside Alabama’s most renowned floral experts – Learning the craft and preparing flower arrangements at countless weddings.
After formal training at the University of Montevallo, Andy went on to receive his National Design Certification from the American Institute of Floral Design (AIFD) – An honor bestowed on only 1,400 people in the entire world.
From designing for celebrity weddings and winning awards for the floats he’s helped create for the Rose Bowl Parade to numerous TV appearances and a recent victory at the internationally acclaimed Philadelphia Flower Show, Andy is continually recognized for his amazing work on a national and local level.
Over the years, his stunning custom designs have been featured in countless online and print publications including, but not limited to: Alabama Weddings Magazine, Southern Bride, The Birmingham News, The Bride’s Cafe, Engaged Birmingham, and Style Me Pretty.
Andy’s also a regular guest on such local television hits as ABC 33/40′s Wake Up Alabama, NBC 13′s Today in Alabama, and Fox 6′s Good Day Alabama – Sharing his wonderful personality, incredible floral displays, and fabulous designing tips.
